Donna,
I have just started on the Beach side. What I have is:Justice Beach married Judith Elizabeth Ann Bradshaw. They had at least 3 sons.Isaac, Benjamin and William. My line is William. It appears William was less than a good man.William married Prudence Harper. Her mother, Elizabeth Harper married William's grandfather.Elizabeth had not married before but had 1 daughter. So his mother-in-law was also his step-grandmother.
I understand William and the mother-in-law decided to get all of the grandfathers money and land, which was a lot.
After the grandfather died the Bradshaw's filed a lawsuit against William Beach.Just today I found this out.I have 6 pages of the Supreme Court Transcripits dated 1823.
In the list of people giving depositions, it lists Iassc and Benjamin as William's brothers. The transcripts are just depositions, I don't know what the out come of the court was.
William had 9 children.His 1st was
Susanna Beach b. in Burke NC married John Hinds in TN.They later moved to Madison Co. Arkansas. They had about 12 children. They died in Madison Co., AR.
Hindsville, AR is named after John Hinds.
This is my line.
Some of the papers I have said William was likely born in Macklenburg Co., NC.
Also the papers state: Prior to Overton.Fentress Co., TN. The William Beach family travels were Burk, Lincoln and Wilkes Co., NC.
He was a Mill Grist owner and lived at the Hinds Plantation along the Wolf River, in Overton/Fentress Co., TN.
Hope some of this will help.
