Dear Carol,
The similarities continue. My William Beach had three sons with Sara. John Beach,Carlis A. Beach dob 1882 dod 1960,George Newton "Newt" Beach Born 3-16-1887 in Zion Arkansas,Date of Death May 9, 1959.George & his wife Hettie Roten had five children,Ruth Beach 1907-1907,John M. Beach 1908-1908,William Edward Beach 1910-1936 (died from TB),Maggie Beach 1914-1914,James Frederick Beach (My husband's dad) 1912-1978.William's wife Sara died in 1887 which was the year Newt was born.He married Nancy Ellen in 1888 and they had one child James Thomas Beach 10-15-1894.
William does not have a death certificate in Arkansas.I checked and received a notification that they searched but one was not found. He died January 24, 1924.Nancy Ellen is buried at Antioch cemetery in Izard County,Arkansas, but we find no grave listing for William in Izard County.
I would love anything, including pictures that you have to see any family resemblance.
It seems that long ago,no one really talked much about their families and there usually was more than one marriage.
I do have William (born in SC) on the 1880 census in Izard Co. at the age of 28 with his wife Sara Jane age 24 (Born in GA with the daughter Maggie (who died at the age of 2).I found him again on the 1900 census with a birth date of January 1853 with wife Nancy E.and all three of William and Sara Jane's boys.
The same census showed a Frank & Eva both from Arkansas. Also a John N. Beach (NC) and Millie (AL).
The first showing of him on the 1880 census shows a L.G.? Beach, age 65 from SC and wife Judith age 63 from SC and son Abraham age 23 born in GA. Then there appears a John E. Beach age 31 from SC, wife Millie age 29 from AL, Nancy E. Age 10 from GA, Louisa Age 8 from Arkansas and William F. age 2 from AR.
Anything you've got I would love to have.I have a great deal more and will share all of it with you.
Thanks
Debbie Beach'
