Glad we've been able to meet up. Two heads are always better than one.
William Henry KUHN was the son of Christian KUHN and his wife Jane WILSON. One of "Harry" KUHN's siblings was Clinton Clay KUHN. C.C. KUHN is my direct ancestor (g-g-grandfather). I have quite a bit of information on the siblings, but very little on their parents. In fact, Christian KUHN is one of my "brick wall" ancestors. You can find both Henry and C.C. KUHN living together on the 1870 census in Albany Pct., Linn Co. Oregon. Both were bachelors, but married shortly thereafter. Demas BEACH was living in Albany at the time as well. BEACH was politically involved in Albany (two terms as a city councilman), as were the KUHN brothers. BEACH was apparently involved in the mill industry as well.
Since this is the BEACH forum, I will e-mail you directly about the KUHN line. Has some of your information on Demas BEACH come from his Oregon Donation Land Claim? I don't have the actual file, but learned his vitals from the extracted material in book form.
I recently moved, so don't have ready access to all of my files on the KUHN family. I will see what I can dig up however.
