I am researching my husband's Bazley family, and have quite a bit of information that was given to me by researchers in England and New Zealand regarding the family's origins in England. My husband's line is:

John BAZLEY (b. 1845 Faulkland, Somersetshire, England; d. 1900, Herefordshire, England) m. 2nd Agnes Elizabeth BEDFORD (b. 1855 Herefordshire, England; d. 1906 Evansville, Rock Co, Wisconsin, USA)

1) John Bazley (b. 1879, d. 1969)
2) Ernest Strangward Bazley (b. 1881, d. 1962)
3) Agnes Ethel Bazley (b. 1882, d. 1931)
4) Nina Bazley (b. 1884, d. 1972)
5) Evelyn Bazley (b. 1886, d. 1970)
6) Gerald Bazley (b. 1888, d. 1889)
7) Victor Bazley (b. 1889, d. 1920)
8) Cecil Strangward Bazley (b. 1891, d. 1961)

Agnes took off for the US with a Dr. Charles Ware, veterinarian, bringing some of her children with her. Other children eventually also emigrated to the US, but some remained in England. Several of the Bazley brothers owned and operated meat markets in the Chicago, Illinois area, and eventually also into Ohio and Michigan.

My husband is descended from Cecil Strangward Bazley and his wife, Elizabeth Claussen.
