Mike, I am impressed with your knowledge of the Bazemore family. Are you related? I would love to know more about the following. Do you have any information.
My grandmother's name was:
Annie Mae Bazemore Beard
birth: 2/12/1891 death: 10/8/1965
She was raised in and lived in Sylvania
Georgia most of her life.
Her parents were:
*Father - Robert Henry Bazemore
birth: 2/5/1865 death: 3/21/1942
*Mother - Lucy Lariscy
birth: 10/13/1865 death: 6/13/1937
For several years they lived in the Beaufort, South Carolina working as share croppers. Then they moved to Newington, Georgia. Robert was the Sherrif of Newington for many years.
That's about all I know about that side of the family. I would love to know where Annie Mae's family came from. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
