Kitty's father: Thomas Jefferson Bazemore (RS), b. March 6, 1745 in Bertie County, NC, d. January 23, 1837 in Jones County, GA, buried Bazemore Cemetery, Jones County, GA. Married Sarah.
Thomas's father: John Bazemore, b. abt 1705 in Norfork, VA, d. aft July 10, 1789 in Bertie County, NC.
John's father: Thomas Bazemore, b. abt1665 in Surrey, England, married Elizabeth Edwards.
Kitty and Jones Burkhalter had three children(that I have information about): John S., b. 1811 in Georgia married Ruthy Stewart in 1844; Joshua, b. January 2, 1816 in Georgia, d. February 7, 1886 in Williamsburg, MS, married Martha Ann Harvey; George W., b. 1835 in Mississippi, married M. J. ? in 1861.
I have some information about descendants of Joshua but nothing further on the other two children. Of course, I would like any that you can provide.
