Wright was descended from the Bertie County Bazemores. It appears that all Bazemores in this country are decended from Thomas Bazemore who came from England by way Barbados. Wright is not from the Screven County Bazemores, though.

Thomas' father: Reddick Bazemore, b. 1775, d. April 1860 in Houston County, GA. Married Elizabeth Roquemore.
