I believe the church you are referring to is the Wesleyana Memorial Church in Screven County, GA. Bertha served as Secretary for Wesleyana, which is not an active church, but has been preserved as a memorial. The 49th Annual Homecoming is scheduled for October 24. The Bazemores were very involved with the building of the church when it was an active church. Bertha's grandfather donated additional land to the church in 1921.
