I'm the son of Mary Bazemore, who's the daughter of William E. Bazemore, who's a son of Seth R. and grandson of William W. Bazemore. I'm wondering if anyone might have information on that line of Bazemores (Probably between William W. and Kenneth Bazemore) and their involvement at all in the Civil War?

Also, my great grandmother (Mabel Teaboult, wife of William E. Bazemore) always told my mother that the name was french with scot-irish blended into it. Is that the case?
