I am related to Edwad Baysmore, his father's name is George Baysmore. Married to Virginia Elliot in Norfolk Virginia. I was told both were originally from Norfolk Virginia. George Baysmore's family is originally from NC. Then some migrated to portsmouth & Norfolk. My grandmother( Virginia Baysmore) informed me a while ago that she change the spelling of Bazemore to Baysmore.
