Eliz Shook in TX abt 1860 Posted by: Bill Shook Date: October 02, 2000 at 18:54:17   of 597 Looking for info on James Bazemore, b. abt 1837 in Alabama, marr. an Elizabeth (mnu) SHOOK abt 1860 or so, apparently in Texas. She already had a son named John Ziska Shook, abt 4 years old, b. TX. They appear in the census of Bosque Co, TX in 1870. James is shown as BAYSMORE, 33, born in Alabama. In 1880 they are in Hays Co, TX. He is a storekeeper & grocer; name is spelled Baysmoore. Does anyone know where he was living in 1860, who his parents were, or have any info about his wife Elizabeth & her son John? Followups: Re: James, m.
