My great grandfather according to history books was ruling the country of Yemen on behalf of KISSRA king of Persia >1400 yrs ago.He accepted Islam and ruled on behalf of Prophet Mohamed for 2yrs then died. One of the old gates of Mecca and a water well were named after him as shown on old maps.. Some of his grand children settled near Cairo, forming one of the biggest families in Egypt. The descendants spread to spain and other parts of the world.Last summer I visited a town in Spain north of Andalucia named BAZAN.From which came a spanish Hero AlvaroDeBazan. My question now are all the BAZANs named after the town or are they my relatives who lost contact with original family? My grandfather showed me a hand written book by his grandfather ending by a list of all his fathers names till Bazan. We lost that book when my grandfather died in the 60's(aged over 99 yrs).
