how's it going everyone. i've been periodically checking this site in order to get a better background of my past. i'm very interested in my bazan roots. i'm from sheboygan, WI. my family is the only bazan in this city. but in milwaukee there are atleast 8 listings. my father, Hugo Bazan came to the us in the sixties. he's from iquique, Chile. he is one of two children. his brother, Jose Bazan lives in Anotfagasta, Chile. i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. My father pasted away more than 11 years ago. when i was 11, my father went over our family history, but i was to young to understand or remember (i lost the family tree he made). the communication between my uncle and our family is far and few. he speaks very small amounts of english.i understand spanish well, but have problems speaking it. it's hard to trace anything back further than my grandparents. My grandfather's name is Jose Bazan and myy grandmother's name (with maiden) is Zulema del Carmen Hortenzia. that's what i can remember. if these names are familiar i'd appreciate it if someone could respond. thanks to everyone that has posted info, as it is very helpful. the other thing i also wonder about are those crest's that you can get online. Are theycredible?
