On the "Y Results" page for the Bays/Baze/Baize DNA Project here:

the Y-DNA results for R1b1 individuals nos. 74735 & 104833 are actually the results for two descendants of the John Bays lines of Pittsylvania Co., VA. (I'm not sure whether it's known for certain whether their "Most Distant Ancestor" was actually born in England or not; this may just be a best guess.)

No Bay descendant from the lines you mentioned has been Y-DNA tested at FamilyTreeDNA to my knowledge. That might be very interesting to do if you know of a Bay direct male descendant. Signup for the project is here if you're able to find someone:
