Col. John Baylor was my 7th-great-grandfather. He married Elizabeth Tunstall, daughter of William Tunstall, and they had my 6th-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Baylor, who married John Walker. They also had a son John Baylor, who was educated in England, and supposedly brought the first Arabian Horses to this country, at Springfield Farm in King & Queen County. Also Judge R. E. B. Baylor, one of the founders of Baylor University in Waco, Tex. is said to be related in the family. Does anyone have anymore information on these Baylors?
