Daniel Baylor/Catherine Lemmon/Lehman

Daniel Baylor ca 1760 and Catherine Lemmon ca 1762 are my ancestors. I descend from their daughter Helen Elizabeth born 1799 in VA. She married Marmaduke McCartney born 1789 in PA. Their daughter Eliza Ann McCartney born 1822 in OH married John Batman born 1802 in Lexington, KY.

I've seen posts that show Daniel Baylor's father as Jacob. Is there any convincing evidence or documentation of that?

Considering that the name Walker keeps popping up in the children's middle names, there must be a connection to the Walker families. I have seen my Tucker,Courteney/Courtney,names connected to Walkers and also the colony on Barbados.

I have a Samuel Tucker in my line who was the Capt. of the ship "The Vine Tree". I don't know whether it was a merchant ship, slave ship or?

I believe my Courtney's descend from Frances Courteney of Barbados. From the "William and Mary Quarterly" "TUCKER.-
Deed of Robert Tucker of Norfolk and John Tucker of Barbadoes: Whereas by will of my deceased father, Robert Tucker, and mother Frances Nelson &c. 1742. Witness W. Nelson Jr., Sarah Burwell." (Ludwell MSS.; VA Hist. Society.) "The widow Frances Tucker, (nee Courteney) married Thomas Nelson of Yorktown." (See Tucker family, X. 281.

I have seen posts that show Tuckers connect to Walkers to Slaughters and Peachy's.
A Thomas Walker married a Baylor. Their son John Walker married Rachael Crowshaw, their son Thomas married Susanna Peachy. This Thomas according to a post was born in the Bahamas and said that Susanna Peachy was a slave or a daughter of a slave.???
So, Thomas and Susannah's daughter Mary Walker 1677 married Zachary Lewis. Their daughter Mary Lewis married Joseph Dulaney. Their daughter Margaret Dulaney Williams married Thomas Barbee. Their daughter Mary Barbee married William Courtney.

My ancestor Elzay Courtney born 1783 in Fauquier married Sarah Ann Haley born 1787. I believe Sarah was the daughter of John Haley. Elzay, I believe descended from William and Mary Barbee. Elzay was bound out to Angus Cameron. Elzay and Sarah moved to Fleming Co., KY.

Can anyone tell me who Daniel Baylor's parents were? Who Elzay Courtney's were? Who the Baylor who married Thomas Walker was? Am I clear off-base with this whole thing?
And...................is there Indian/Black blood in these lines?

Kathleen
