A 1741 land warrant reads: "Whereas Philip Wurtman of the County of Philadelphia hath requested that we would grant him to take up One Hundred acres of land situated at the foot of the Hills in Oley Township. Adjoining Caspar Van Baylor & Michael Knowle in the said County of Philadelphia....." I believe this is present day Alsace Twp, Berks Co. Does anyone know anything about the above mentioned Casper? This comes from a transcript of the document, so the name may be Von Baylor. Thanks in advance for any help.
