Hi, Cousin Russell!

I'm happy to "meet" you! Susannah was my 5th great grandmother. Her parents were Johan (Jacob) BEALERT and Maria Dorothea (Dorothy). Her parents came to America from Germany in 1732 aboard The Samuel. Jacob was b. in 1708 and Dorothy in 1713, based on the ship's list information. Susannah's siblings were: Mary, Jacob, David, and Elizabeth. They lived in Blockley, Philadelphia Co, PA. Mary m. Rudolph LATCH and had son Jacob LATCH; the other siblings I have no information on except their names. (I descend from Susannah BEALERT through her son Jonathan JAMES and through Jonathan's son, Joel L. JAMES who was my 3rd great grandfather.) Please contact me at <nokomts@ktc.com> and we can exchange further info on the little I have on the BEALERTs and also on the JAMES family, if you like. (I don't know if the BEALERT name ever was spelled BAYLOR, but I think it was pronounced that way.) Thanks for contacting me! ---Becky
