I'm so happy you responded to my message. I'm just beginning to compile my family history, so I'm glad to get all the info I can. If you do have that book by Jerry Don Thompson, you can see a photo (the last photo I believe) of a man standing next to Col. John Robert Baylor's tombstone...that's Pa, my great grandfather.
My father is of no realtion to the Baylor's (his last name is Herring), but I kept my mother's maiden name. My mother is Leslie Louise Baylor...her father is David Edward Baylor...his father is George Wythe Baylor, Jr., which would make John Robert Baylor my great great great grandfather.
I seen a lot of reference to the Baylor genealogy books...where might I find these? Also, if you ever come across another copy of that book by Jerry Don Thompson, let me know.
