Hello Larry

Interested in your entry. One of my English ancestors was Lavinia Bayley who was married to George Hugh Donaldson - the couple had a daughter Marianne born 1871 in Lancaster Eng. She came to Australia as a young girl. Her father's occupation on her birth certificate was warehouse man in copperworks.
As people did not move so much in those days, I can only assume at this stage that the couple lived in Lancaster for some time and may both have been born there.

Keep me posted if there seems to be a link given that Wigan is in Lancastershire.
