Searching for information on William Bayley, who was born in Falmouth (Portland) Maine between 1755 & 1758.
William enlisted in 1778 to fight in the Revolutionary War. He married a woman named Sarah Linch in 1780. They lived in Smith's Clove New York, and he worked at West Point.
I would like to find out what happened to Bayley after moving to New York, and after the War ended.
