Glad I finally received a response. John bayse is my great grandfather. He was born in Surry County and moved to Carroll County and then Pulaski County. We do not know where he is buried, but we do know where your great-great grandmother, Belle was buried. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Roanoke, VA. George who was born in 1890 has several brothers and sisters, one was my grandfather, Jerry Bayse. My father is John Bayse who lives in Roanoke, VA and is 84 years old. I have gathered information on our kin who served in the Civil War. I have also stood where John Bays and the the Fifth virginia Calvary fought in the battle of Five Forks. if you want more info I would like to share with you.

Sandi
