Thank you for your reply. Just this Oct 29th, I found Albert Bays listed in www.rootsweb.com. It turns out that he is the son of a Jonathan Bays, b. 5-20-1843 in Greene Co. Indiana. Jonathan was the Civil War Veteran and was married to an Elizabeth Ann Tolbert/Talbert, married 9-28-1865, Greene Co. Ind. Jonathan's Father was John Bays, married to a Millie, last name unk.
This Albert Bays is positively the G.G.Father I was looking for.
