Searching for parents/siblings/children of Martin Bayer born c. 1832 in Lothringen, Alsace-Lorraine (Prussia) and married Magdalen ? who was born in the same area. Martin and Magdalen are listed in the 1880 Kenton CO KY Census in Covington. Martin is listed as a worker in Foundry. Martin and Magdalen had possibly 11 children who were born in the USA: Martin c. 1853, Magdalen 28 July 1855, Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" 18 Oct. 1857, Louis c. 1861, Joseph c. 1863, Charlie c. 1865, Edward c. 1868, Mary c. 1870, Albert c. 1872, Amelia c. 1874, and Anna c. 1888. Martin, Louis, and Joseph worked in the Foundry. Charlie was a cigarmaker. Magdalen entered the vocation as a nun on 6 July 1876 and is not listed in the 1880 KY Census. There may possibly be more children between Martin and Louis. Only some of the lineage of Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bayer is known. Any info appreciated.
