My great grandma was a Bayard. Have a John F. Bayard of GrenobleFrance came here in 1817. He had 10 children. Some of the surnames are Somes Cook Sachau Guilder Reed Kimball Newton Bayard. Hope this helps. Please let me know if any names match up. I have seen the name of "Chevalier de Bayard"Col. George Adams Bayard of Bellefonte Pa.
