Yes, I am fully aware, that this is your line.
And I am fully aware that this family thing can be very sensitive.
I said, this negative evidence do not prove them non-existent. This might be true for Frederikke Wandal, may be she is born in 1755, and not in 1706, but she is not important here.
When it comes to James Hugh and brothers, I (after digesting the info) I think, that it will prove him and brothers as non-existing, and that counts for Hugh (Huey) as well.
I asked you to validate the irish LDS-records, you did not. So I will. This James Hugh, Ireland is not son of a non-present Jens Bertelsen. This set of records are false, fake and fraud. But still I am fascinated by this LDS-invention. It fits the legends so well.
In Ireland there will only be very few LDS Bay-records. An other irish Bay record is John Bay, born 1660 married to widow Bay, born 1719, and son Andrew Bay, born 1728 (as I recall) and dead in Havre de Grace, Md. This record is not very trustworthy. A seventy years old man marrying a widow, who has a son before she is 10 years old. I doubt. What is the truth behind this record, if any. But he is very alone in Ireland, and might originate somewhere else.
Can this be the Pastor Bay, dead Ireland you are talking about, his widow migrating to Maryland with sons.
Do you have any valid information on this Pastor Bay, Ireland.
Understand that the names, John and Andrew, will mirror the danish names Jens and Anders very well. And in the Randers-family they are all called Jens Andersen Bay or Anders Jensen Bay.
Why do I bother at all. Because it is my conviction, that Bay is a very old danish name, and danish only. So you american Bays may be part of my house, and I would like to bring my house in order. If possible.
And one minor correction. My friend said, look in "Præsteslægter", the true title on this book is: S.V.Wiberg: "Præstehistorie". 1870. I only have short memory, but happily I took some notes. Actually I had planed to find this book, so thanks for forcing me to do it.
