In 1820 there were three Baxter families in Tennessee, according to one online census data base.
James Baxter - Davidson Co., TN (outside Nashville)
Jane Baxter - Maury Co., TN (Williamsport)
Jeramiah Baxter - Davidson Co., TN (outside Nashville)
I'm looking for the parents of Grace Baxter, who was said to have married Warham Easley cir. 1820.
Grace "Gracy" Baxter Easley was born cir. 1794 in KY, according to the 1850 Hickman Co., TN census. In the 1860 Hickman Co., TN census, she was listed as being born cir. 1793 in TN.
The Warham Easley family lived in Gray's Bend near the Duck River in Hickman Co., TN. Their farm was downstream from Williamsport, Maury Co., TN, which was listed as the location of the (widow ?) Jane Baxter in 1820.
