Theory about Abraham Baxter b. 1819 in KY

I have researched many BAXTER families in census records who lived in Fayette County, KY in 1850.

I came across an Abernathy BAXTER whom I believe to be Blackstone ABERNATHY and not Abernathy BAXTER. He is 83 years old and was b. in Virginia. He is listed in the same household with America BAXTER, Age 48, along with her children. (No Abraham listed . . . Abraham m. in 1843) Some researchers indicate that this America is America (ABERNATHY) Baxter whom. William Baxter in 1821. William was b. abt. 1800 and d. abt. 1835. Therefore, America is a widow in the 1850 census. I am wondering if William & America (Abernathy) Baxter are related to Abraham Baxter b. 1819 in KY who m. Elizabeth Hooser?

Next door to America & family lives German BAXTER, Age 52 and b. in KY. His wife is Elizabeth. Some researchers indicate that Elizabeth's maiden name is ABERNATHY. In addition, listed in the same household of German BAXTER there is a Mary BAXTER, Age 76, b. in VIRGINIA. Could this Mary BAXTER (a married name) be the mother of Abraham BAXTER b. in 1819? Could this German BAXTER be a brother to Abraham BAXTER?

This is a bunch of wishful thinking on my part to tear down the brick wall while researching the parents of Abraham BAXTER.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Can you fit the ABERNATHY & BAXTER puzzle parts together to include or eliminate Abraham BAXTER?
