Hello David George,
My Bawdens were from Camborne, and in my research, many were miners. There are various spellings of the name; my Edward BAWDEN changed it to BOWDEN in Pennsylvania. I have 4 Richard BAWDEN listings, 1) marriage in 1802 in Gwennap Parish, 2) born 1814 Gwennap, 3) born 1819 Gwennap, 4) born 1814 Gwennap. Any of these four could possibly fit yours, but there were lots of BAWDEN/BOWDEN. I have no Richard from Camborne. Cheers! David Crocker
