I’m looking for any information regarding the family of William R. Stigler and Annie Elizabeth Thurman. In particular, information on their son William Grady Stigler, Sr. William Grady Stigler, Sr. and Mary Belle Richardson had a son, William Grady Stigler, Jr., born in Schleicher County, Texas on 11 June 1936. From information found on line, some members of the Stigler family are buried in Christoval Cemetery, Christoval, Tom Green Co., Texas including “Mary Stigler”, b. 1907 d. 1979. Next to Mary is the grave marker for “William Stigler”, b. 1936, d. ( ).

William Grady Stigler, Sr. had a sister, Ethel Stigler, b. 1912 who married Elvin Bawcom. Elvin Bawcom was the son of John B. Bawcom and Ollie E. (?).

Mary Belle Richardson was the daughter of Hugh Richardson and Nora L. Chriesman. Hugh Richardson and Nora L. Chriesman were married 26 Dec 1905 at Nora's home near Sonora, Sutton Co., Texas. This was the second marriage for Nora who’s first husband was P. H. Stringer.

Nora L. (Chriesman) Stringer Richardson was the daughter of Thomas Francis "Frank" Chriesman and Viola C. or L. Stamps. She was the sister of Hiram Wesley Chriesman. She was the granddaughter of Horatio Chriesman.

I’ve been researching the Chriesman family for many years now. My g-g-grandmother and her sister attended the wedding of Hugh and Nora and I have a letter they wrote describing the wedding.

If you have any information regarding anyone connected to these families please contact me. Sincerely, Greg.
