Looking for connections (and info) for the Baumbach family of Pittsburgh. Spellings vary in sources from Baumbach/ Bomback/ Bambach/ Boumbouch; but are all the same people. Here is the info I know of (from Bible, church records, newspaper clippings):

Maria Baumbach married Andrew S.I. Krumm on June 20, 1882 at St Michaels in Pittsburgh. She is the daughter of Isaac Bambach and Francisca Balding. Witnesses were: Albert Drisch, William Engel, Elisabeth Winter, Elisabeth Guth.

Names of the Baptismal sponsors (b/t 1884 ~ 1897) of this couple's children include: Gulielmus Lang and Maria Magdalea Lang, James McVay and Gertrude McVay, Andrew Engel and Annie Engel, Andrew Engel and Philomena Engel.

From a newspaper clipping the a family Bible -- no date on article:
"Isaac Bomback, the old man who was run over on Monday on the Panhandle road, near Main Street, West End, died on Wednesday. He was thrown over the trestle at that point and seriously injured. He was 60 years old.

Does anything sound familiar to anyone ????
Karen
