Interested in anyone whose BAUMANN relatives connect to the Baumann family of Kusel (Cussel) Rheinland-Palatinate, Germany or Ernst Alexander Otto Cornelius Andreas BAUMANN and Maria Elisabetha BASTIAN. about 1705-1790. Three sons known: Gustav Christian Andreas b. abt. 1738 in Pettersheim. Bernhard Carl Wilhelm BAUMANN b. abt. 1742 in Kusel. Georg Philipp BAUMANN b. 30 Apr. 1750 in Kusel.
Georg married Maria Catheriana Köll, daughter of Johann Köll and Maria Pfaff 1776. Berhard married Philippina Elisabetha Keller 1770, daughter of Conrad Keller. Gustav maried Christiane Catharina Luise Matthias in 1747, daughter of Johann Matthias and Philippine Köniig.
There are many BAUMANN descendants of this line that I have traced who lived in and around Kusel for 250 years. My great grandfather, a Christian Philipp BAUMANN, got permission to leave and emmigrated to Ohio in 1853.
