Hi. Is it possible that your David Tuttle could have been David Tovel? My gggrandfather was born in Pa. ca 1800 and his parents (supposedly)came from Germany..I don't know when. Anyway, his name was Jacob Adam Bauman and he married in Jefferson County Oh. 1834(I think without digging out my records) a Sarah Maria Tovel.I have found Tovel has been spelled, Tubble,Tuttle and Tovell .I know from a will that Maria had a brother named David. I don't know anything about Adam's siblings.However, the name Martha shows up in our Bauman family a couple of times. I'm grasping at straws here, I know, but I've hit a stone wall. Thanks ,Debe
