Samuel Baumann sailed to New Orleans in 1848 on the ship James Corner. With him his wife Maria Barbara Peterhans, (a widow of unknown Schibli). Samuel's parents were Abraham Baumann and Maria Furter. Siblings: Jacob b.1821, Abraham b.1822, Pauline b.1832, Johan Friedrich b.1836, Anna Maria b.1837. They were citizens of Stilli Aaragu. Maria Barbar's children joined them, arriving in 1857. I would like to communicate with anyone having knowledge of this family.
