Hi Karen, sorry for the delay in responding to your posting. I've checked my files and as far as I can tell my line of Bauman/Baumann changed their spellings to Bowman beofre coming to Michigan. I don't see a connection as of yet but perhaps someday we'll find one. Good luck with your research.
