Looking for the children of Christian BAUMAN/
BOWMAN, b. 1734 and Nancy Ann HUBER, both born in Lancaster Co., PA. Christ is the son of John BAUMAN and Margaretha GUTH of Ephrata
Twp.His siblings were Anna,b 1729,Benjamin, b.1732, Daniel, b.1737,Esther, b. 1740 and
Samuel, b. 1743. He was a 'millstone-maker'
and 'stone-cutter'; he died at Camp Hill, Cumberland Co.,PA in 1815.Christians' will names all of his siblings, but none of his
children. Records of taxes paid in 1797-98
show hs name as Christian Bowman,Sen., so
there should be a Christian, Jr.,and perhaps
other Children.
