Just saw your message in Genforum on 12/13/2004. I don't think I can answer your question but perhaps you can help me.
My gggrandfather Peter Holtzman married Catherine Kissinger and they lived in the Gratz/Lykens, PA area. Their daughter Sarah (Sally) Holtzman b. 11/28/1848 d. 1/3/1928 married John D. Baum b. 1/25/1841 d. 1/8/1897. They had children; Lily b/d 1861, Edward b. 1/17/1827 d. 2/1/1877, John L. b. 12/19/1878 d. 3/30/1882, Charles Lloyd b. ?/?/?? d. ?/?/?? (worked in the mines and was an artist), Henry G. b. ?/?/?? d. ?/?/??, Henry G. b. ?/?/?? d. ?/?/after 1938, Isaac Wellington b. 5/25/1870 d. 3/13/1941, and Maude b. ?/?/?? d. ?/?/?? (married an unknown hotel man).
Do you know anything about this Baum family? I recently was told by a relative that a family Bible was given to Sally.
I would like to find out who has done research one Sally and John D.
I tried sending an email to your internet address but was notified it could not be delivered.
