However, she may be a cousin of some sort, If she stems from the Dutch line of Schencks that came to Ohio from New Jersey. A brother of my N.J. Ancestor came out here to OH.
My line is all N.Y. / N.J., from 1650 to 1945. I came here to OH in 1987. The OH Schencks have been published in a good reference book, by A.D. Schenck "The Rev William Schenck" There is another small one by a Woman named Crane, about the Dayton branch of the same line of OH Schencks.
Another note. there a thousands of German Schencks who came later, and settled in PA and OH. Good Luck Paul
