Seeking ancestry of Jacob BAUM, b. ca. 1770 prob. in Herkimer Co., NY; died 12 Nov 1854, Pamelia, Jefferson Co., NY. He married Barbara ____ in 1794 in Manheim, Herkimer, NY. She was b. ca. Mar 1779 in NY, d. 24 Apr 1860 in Jeff. Co., NY. Both buried in Town of Theresa, Jeff. Co., NY. Their children:
Jacob Jr, John, Mary m. John J. Timmerman, Henry m. Catharine ____, Absalom m. Anna ____, Ephraim J. m. Elizabeth ____, Solomon m. Polly ____, Betsey m. Jacob HART, Barbara m. Abraham DILLENBECK, Katherine m. __ Petrie. This Jacob BAUM may have been a War of 1812 veteran as a marker indicating as much has been placed next to his gravestone.
