Hello,
Please everyone note, I have been learning a few words in German from some actual Germans visiting this country.
I asked one day what was the word for WOOD and was told Baum and she spelled it for me.
I have checked out a couple of Wood names on this board and they are who I know to be listed in BAUM.
Isaac Baum for instance is Isaac Wood, he was the second husband to my gg-grandmother's sister. I don't know if he was married previously as was she, but I found the match I was looking for to verify before telling all of you.
