Dear Bruce,

Long time since I wrote you. Since that time I have found more information out on the Baums. My ancestor, Elisabeth Baum,who was from Munster am Stein had a grandfather from Huffelsheim who was named Simon. He was married to Anna Christina Dormer in 1774. I don't have any other children. Elisabeth's father was Johann Valentin Baum who was born in 1778. This might give you an area in German to research.
