Since I posted the first note, I've found that William BAUM (~1841-1906) was not the father of Mary and Ellen... rather he was the husband of Mary WRIGHT, (1847-1926) daughter of Henry and (Mary)Polly WRIGHT. William was a bricklayer in Pottstown, PA at the time of their marriage (1891) and Mary was his second wife. I believe that William was originally from Berks County, though I haven't yet found the rest of his family.
