I am not sure of anything with John/Susan Baum. I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a connection with any line. The only information I had to start with was a hand-written notation that my ggrandfather made about his wife's ancestry. Her name was Almedia Rudd; her parents were Augustus S.Rudd and Zilpha Vann. Zilpha's mother was Susan Baum who was married to a William Vann. Susan's father was named John Baum and he was supposed to have fought with George Washington.
The names you mention are not familiar, but I have so little to go on, anything is possible. I would be interested in any information you might have on John/Susan Baum. Thanks.
