The Nagle book lists Richard Nagle and wife Mary's children as:
John 1779-1871; Jacob 1781-1856; Richard R. 1783-1866; Margaret 1785-; George 1790-1834; Honora 1793-. It states that Richard Nagle was b. in County Cork, Ireland in 1747 and died in Susquehanna Township, Cambria Co., PA, Feb. 9, 1837, and buried on the Einar Bloomberg Farm in the Baum Cemetery. I went to Ireland in 1987 and climbed in the ruins of Sir Richard Nagle's castle, saw the Nagle Mountains, and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of Ireland, but couldn't find anything proving our Richard's birth, giving his parents??? So still a question mark there.

Jacob Nagle had both a wife named Honor Martha (sometimes Honora) and a sister named Honora. Richard R. Nagle married Honor's sister Mary Martha Baum. Oh, what tangled webs we weave! Have been trying to prove Honora Martha Baum's birth to John Baum and wife Mary, but so far can't find any proof.

So more research needed. I think possibly in Frederick Co. Md. might prove fruitful. At least I hope so.

Thanks much -- Another cousin, Cathy Baker
