I have on Elkanah BAUGHN/BAUGHAN that he was born 17 Sept 1733 and his wife is Ann Unknown. They lived in the Hanover Co., VA area.
I think he may be s/o Joseph BAUGHN b. 17 Feb 1702 and his wife Ann.
Elkanah may have a brother, James BAUGHN b. 11 Aug 1729 and a sister Ann BAUGHN.
This BAUGHN family may be related to a John BAUGHN/BAUGHAN/BOUGHN/VAUGHN who married in 5 Nov 1686 to Sarah POINDEXTER in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., VA.
I too would like more information on thses BAUGHN families. My line is a Richard BAUGHN (d. 1808 KY) who came from Hanover Co., VA around 1800 to Bullitt Co., KY. He was married to wife Juriah Unknown (bca. 1773 VA - 1852 IN). They had 4 known children.
