i am very interested in this Tucker Baughn and his family. a few of us Baughn relatives here in Alabama think he might "possibly" be the grandfather of my 3rd greatgrandfather Peyton Baughn who died in Winston Co. Al in 1869. my Peyton was born in 1804 in Ga.
as far as we know Peyton's father's name was Joseph and we have no name for Joseph's wife.
until i found this info on Tucker and some others dating back to the 1600's , it was thought that the Baughn's didn't come into this country until the late 1700's, so any info would help. thanks in advance.
