Where did you find the 1817 date for John Baugh's arrival in Logan County, KY? I have searched the Logan County tax lists and find the first listing there in 1819 of John and Samuel. Incidentally, Samuel signed the list first, followed by John.
Baugh family members in Logan County with whom I have talked say John and Samuel were brothers. I have yet to find a documentable evidence that this is true. I have considerable evidence from which I infer that is true.
Where do you connect to the Baugh line? I would like to continue our correspondence.
