The situation is a little confusing, Dale. We have Rufus Baugh b. 3/10/1811 in Wythe Co., VA, to Henry Baugh and Elizabeth Miller. We have Mary Diane Baugh b. 12/30/1811 in (probably) Wythe Co., VA. The dates would seem to make it unlikely they are brother and sister. Mary Diane was the illegitimate daughter of George Wissman of Wythe Co. and Elizabeth Baugh, d/o George Baugh and wife Elizabeth ??. I would think it's highly probable there is some connection. If you see one, please let me know.
