Sandy:Point Pleasant is on the Ohio River in West Virginia across from Galop. Ohio.The Battle of Point Pleasant was the first battle of the American Revolution,Oct.10,1774.A Jacob Baugh was at the battle.A monument is erected there in the park,run by the DAR.
