Hi,I do not know your family, but in talking with my mother, Elizabeth May Baugh the other day-she said that there were lots of Baughs in Washington, Knox, and Vigo counties.

I have asked her to write things down, but she never seems to do that!

Her line of Baughs came up from TN-Murphreesboro area. Originally they were from VA.

She said that the name was originally de Baugh-French. And that the family came to VA just after the Mayflower.

Maybe some of this will help.
